My Contacts

It means that Only your contacts can add you to WhatsApp groups.

My Contacts Except

This option means that allowed contacts can add me to WhatsApp groups.

The third option is the more secure “My contacts except.” I am personally using this option. You can allow only trustworthy contacts like your brother or any friend who can add you to the group to the group.
